Photo May: May 19 – Laura Art Nude
Art nude work with Laura from 2010.
Photo May: May 18 – Hannah Perez
From my first shoot with Hannah Perez that included me slipping on a rock and pulling my groin and being caught in a nasty thunderstorm. Before those two problems though we did some great work that day. One part of the day came as we tried to capture her hair in motion. We never quite got it perfectly, but here is perhaps the best result of the attempt.
Photo May: May 17 – Brynn Cook
Continuing the trend of images of models posed on a bed comes today’s photo from my first shoot with Brynn Cook.
Photo May: May 16 – Tavia Spizer
Going way, way back for today’s image. A 2007 shoot with Australian model Tavia Spizer.
Photo May: May 14 – Keri Taylor
From back in 2011, Keri Taylor in an experiment working with white background, surface, and prop.
Photo May: May 13 – Jessi in the Water
Going way back to 2009 for today’s image. This comes from early in the year when I first started trying some new experiments in concepts. It’s also the first time I did a shoot specifically targeting outdoor nudes. I’d actually forgotten about this shoot until I started reviewing for this month’s series. Jessi was inexperienced, but good to work with. This was our only shoot together.
Photo May: May 12 – Charlie Kristine
From the last time I had the chance to work with the wonderful Charlie Kristine back in late 2001. We had some great glamour style work that day, but here something a bit different. Start by taking a bit of light bondage using a tie I had lying around in the room and mix art nude styled lighting and processing.
Photo May: May 11 – Nyxon in Black and White
From a 2012 shoot with Nyxon.
Outside with Ivy Lee
A more traditional post today looking at a recent shoot with Ivy Lee. My first sign is spring I think comes with my first planned shoot outdoors that works out. Here Ivy and I did some nice work in early April along the mountains. Warm enough for nude work to come out well and the sun up late enough to have time to get some good work done.
You can see more from the shoot on the Members Site.
There’s a wonderful waterfall at this location, but we didn’t quite have enough time to make our way there for some photos. It was also still a bit too chilly for her to get into the water that early in the year. We did get the chance to take advantage of the early spring greenery and water from the early rains and the numerous rocks and cascades around the area. This is one of my favorite locations to work in and I’m not sure I’ll ever get tired of it.
